Adventure DANUBE (4): VUKOVAR in Croatia is reached in the morning mist (around 5 a.m.). Right on the quay, memories of the Balkan War of 1991 are awakened with the ruins of the hotel. The fourth largest city in Croatia OSIJEK is adorned with a modern, picturesque market square, the former fortress and the inviting promenade on the banks of the DRAU, a tributary of the Danube.
