Personal Renewal

 “Starting Over at 62”

I spent 40 years building a marriage and a home. When my husband passed, I thought that chapter closed the whole book. But one morning, I sat on the porch with my coffee and realized—I’m still here. I started painting again, something I hadn’t done since my twenties. I signed up for a weekend class. Then a retreat. I found pieces of myself I forgot I ever had. Grief didn’t end me—it opened the door to parts of me I hadn’t yet met.
