The Fourth of July Remembered
In the land of the free, on this special day, We gather together, come what may.
A celebration of freedom, so bold and bright, It’s the Fourth of July, a glorious sight.
The flag waves proudly, its colors so true, Red, white, and blue, a symbol for me and you.
With stars that shine, like hope in the night, A beacon of liberty, a guiding light.
Fireworks explode, painting the sky, With bursts of joy, our spirits fly. Each dazzling display, a reminder profound,
Of the courage and valor on which we are crowned.
We remember those who fought and who bled, Heroes who stood tall, bravely they tread.
Their sacrifice cherished, never in vain, Their legacy echoes, a perpetual flame.
Barbecues sizzle, with laughter and cheer, As families and friends draw near. Sharing stories, laughter, and sweet lemonade, Creating memories, forever to be replayed.
From sea to shining sea, we stand as one, United in freedom, our journey begun.
On this Independence Day, let us recall, The strength of our nation, standing tall.
So let us rejoice, sing with pride, For the land we love, forever abide.
Happy Fourth of July, a day to be free, America, the beautiful, land of liberty.
