Grilling Indoors

While we all love to grill outside, sometimes it just isn’t possible due to weather or other circumstances, well, have no fear, you can grill indoors as well!
Now we don’t want to bring our big gas grill inside, the wife would have a fit, plus it is just not safe… that is where electric grills come in and some are even smokeless!
With as many as a couple of hundred different types of grills on the market, the best way to pick one that works for you is to find one in your price range, some start around $30 and they go up to $200 or $300 depending on the size, quality, and features and then find one that suits your needs and counter space.
Less expensive grills do tend to smoke when cooking in high temps so keep that in mind if you do not have a lot of ventilation in your kitchen. The more expensive grills also tend to be much larger so you can cook more food at once as well as many have grill covers or tops to ensure more even cooking without all the splatter and mess that an open grill might have.
Indoor grills are not only great for cooking hamburgers or steaks but also for seafood, breakfast, and just about anything else you would throw in a frying pan, the possibilities are endless!
To ensure your grill lasts a long time, be sure to clean it and store it properly between uses. Never put away your grill dirty as the grease will be very difficult to remove later.

Mary writes:

I prepare food for myself all the time.  I am not a fan of grocery shopping (I hate it) but I learned to go with a prepared list and get it over with. I do not order out and have Uber bring it.

When I cook, I prepare meals for the freezer. Soups, stews, spaghetti sauce, and more.

My meal preparations take about 30 minutes. Fish or chicken in the Air Fryer for about 15-20min and a fresh salad. A frozen soup meal I can take out the day before. Enjoying a nice, delicious homemade soup in the winter works for me.

I do not consider myself a great cook, but certain meals I prepare, come out great. So, I only cook when I really feel like it, which is not daily. Cooking a piece of meat or fish, preparing a salad, and heating up soup, I do not consider cooking. I Hope, this gave you an inside John. Good luck, and I will be following your articles.
