The Mystery Container in the Back – By John Lee – The Healing Mind Magazine View Larger Image “The Mystery Container in the Back” Fridge Storage & Food Waste Last week, I pulled out a container from the back of my fridge. I didn’t remember what it was. Didn’t want to open it either. I tossed it, sighed, and said, “We’ve got to do better.” Since then, I started labeling my leftovers with a piece of tape and a date. I moved the old stuff to the front, and now I have a system: eat what I already made before I reach for new groceries. It’s not about perfection—it’s about respect. For the food. For the money. For the time I put into cooking. Tip: Keep a small whiteboard or notepad on your fridge: write what’s in there and when you made it. Store leftovers in clear containers so you can actually see what’s inside. Quote: “The fridge is not a graveyard. It’s a tool—use it wisely.” John Lee – Nourish + Flourish Mariette Kammerer2025-07-31T11:56:04+00:00 Share This Story, Choose Your Platform!
