I wrote a letter to my granddaughter last fall. Not about money or advice—but about my fears, my mistakes, and the things I wish someone had told me at 18. I never sent it.
But I read it out loud at a family gathering last month. She cried. She hugged me. And now, we write each other once a month. Turns out, purpose isn’t always a project or a charity. Sometimes, it’s just telling the truth so someone else feels less alone.
